Fluorid wird nun offiziell als Neurotoxin geführt

Fluoride Officially Classified as a Neurotoxin in World’s Most Prestigious Medical Journal
Fluoride is considered a neurotoxin by the most prestigious medical journal. Find out why this famous medical journal claims fluoride to be a neurotoxin.

There was a movement to completely remove sodium fluoride from the world’s water supply and it has been growing in the recent years, with evidence coming out against the additive from several sources. A report from the world’s oldest and most prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, has classified fluoride as a neurotoxin in the same category as arsenic, lead, and mercury.

Author Stefan Stmyle broke the news and disseminated by the Facebook page Occupy Food, which linked to the report published in the report published in The Lancet Neurology, Volume 13, Issue 3, in March 2014 edition. A systematic review identified 5 different, but similar industrial chemicals as developmental neurotoxins: lead, methylmercury, polychlorinated biphenyls, arsenic, and toluene.

6 additional developmental neurotoxins have also been identified: manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, tetrachloroethylene, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers. In the report the authors propose a prevention strategy, saying that “untested chemicals should not be presumed to be safe to brain development, and chemicals in existing use and all new chemicals must, therefore, be tested for developmental neurotoxicity.” They also noted, in the report, that neurodevelopmental disabilities including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and other cognitive impairments, are affecting millions of children around the world in what is called “pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity.

“To coordinate these efforts and to accelerate the translation of science into prevention, we propose the urgent formation of a new international clearinghouse,” 2013 findings by Harvard University meta-analysis funded by the National Institutes of Health concluded that children in areas with high fluoridated water have “significantly lower” IQ scores than those who live in areas without heavily fluoridated water.

It has also been found the fluoride has been linked to various cancers. It is different than naturally-occurring calcium fluoride, and commonly added to drinking water supplies that are used by dentists and dental products who use it for dental health. Fluoride is added to the water supply across much of North America, but the practice is not too common, it just seems the U.S. has the worst food and water in the world. Having fluoride in water supplies is banned throughout most of Europe and in several developed nations across the world.
